"Survivor" will go high-def

After dithering about it for the past several seasons, CBS’s hit reality/competition show “Survivor” has announced that it will be telecast in high definition beginning in the fall.

And it’s about time we get to see the contestants eating bugs and worms and fertilized eggs as clearly and distinctly as technologically possible.
