"CSI" meets "Two and a Half Men"

Two hit CBS shows are executing one of the more unusual crossovers in TV history. It’s not the actors who will be appearing on one another’s shows; it’s the writers who will be penning episodes for each other’s series.

And what makes this particularly, well, different is that the writers behind the comedy “Two and a Half Men” have written an episode of the grisly drama “CSI,” while the “CSI” scribes have written an episode of the goofy, oh-so-adult sitcom “Two and a Half Men.”

The “Men” episodes airs Monday, May 5; the “CSI” episode on Thursday, May. 8.

This idea is so goofy that I just can’t wait to see how it turns out.
