"Iron Man" is box-office gold!

“Iron Man” which grossed nearly $20 million more than even the most optimistic studio projections, becomes the 10th-fastest film to break the $100 million mark. Predictably, Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures used that news to announce that a sequel film has been green-lit. And that movie already has a release date: April 30, 2010.
