Terrible TV (that I love!)
Well, this isn’t technically my first blog. I’ve blogged for other employers and I actually really enjoyed it. I liked rambling about thoughts in this capacity… Actually, when you think about it, it’s the best way to ramble. If you blab in person, you run the risk of seeing that glassy-eyed gaze and the quick scan around the room looking for someone more interesting.
This way, I get to ramble and you can just click your mouse when you start blinking a lot.
Have you been watching “The Bachelorette?” I can’t help myself. At that point of the day, my baby is in bed, I’m beat and there’s DeAnna and her men. What’s a girl to do?
If I were to ever find myself as the Bachelorette (which won’t happen, but still…) I’d have one rule: Anyone who had to talk to me about how “hard it is” on them that others are vying for my affection would be gone. Period. Don’t you know which show you’re on?
Every season, there is always someone browbeating the Bachelor or Bachelorette about all the “competition,” and how “it’s just really hard” and many of them seem to be mad at the candidate for it – as if it’s his or her fault.
Sorry folks. You’re on “The Bachelor.” That means others will be dating, kissing, holding the person of your dreams.
Hmm… now that I think about it, as soon as I heard anyone talking about whether or not someone else is “here for the right reasons” they’d be gone too.
And you’re right, I should be gone – my eyes have glazed over and I’m looking for something more interesting. But I can’t help myself.
