New gigs and a cancellation

Well, as some of you have heard, the Cinderella, Warrant, Lynch Mob and Lyman concert scheduled at the USANA Amphitheatre on Aug. 15, has been canceled. Cinderella lead singer Tom Keifer’s vocal chords have hemorrhaged. It still isn’t clear if he needs surgery, but the band has been forced to cancel the summer tour.

But some new gigs have been scheduled. Bob Dylan will be playing the Deer Valley Amphitheater. Unfortunately, his son, Jakob, is not currently scheduled to perform with him.

Tickets for Bob Dylan will go on sale at Saturday, June 28, at 10 a.m., at all Smith’sTix outlets, at www.smithstix.com or by calling 467-8499 or 800-888-8499.

Other new concert announcements include Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town at the E Center on Nov. 19. Tickets will go on sale Saturday at 11 a.m., at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling 325-7328 and at the E Center Box office at 3200 S. Decker Lake Drive.

And comedian George Lopez will do his schtick at the E Center on Sept. 27. Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 am. at the E Center Box office or theTicketmaster link and phone number above.
