Among the many entertainment choices for families this weekend is the Gloria International Film Festival, which boasts screenings of feature-length movies and short works intended to “stir the soul, heal the heart and enrich the world.”
The locally run film event kicks off tonight (July 30) with opening ceremonies and will run through Aug. 2 at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South.
Most of the films have not been rated, though a few may contain some PG-level material. A schedule is available online at www.gloriafilmfest.org.
Screening tickets are $5, and festival passes (good for admission to all screenings and parties) are $50. For more information, browse the Web site or call 1-877-768-4395.
