Latin Grammys

The Latin Grammy nominations were announced this morning, and the list is impressive. However, the category that caught my eye was the album of the year nominees.

Those nominees include Buika for “Nina De Fuego,” Cafe Tacvba for “Sino” and Vicente Fernandez for “Para Siempre,” Kany Garcia for “Cualquier Dia”; and Juanes for “La Vida . . . Es Un Ratico.”

I would like to see Cafe Tacvba take home the award, although Buika’s album is filled with dynamic music from start to finish. Still, there is a lot of buzz on Juanes.
