It’s o-Phish-al!

Phish is reuniting next year for three shows — March 6, 7 and 8 — at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia.

The announcement was posted on its official website, www.phish.com, and an Associated Press report quoted a Hampton Coliseum spokesman who confirmed the dates.

In addition, the Web site post stated the band would announce more reunion tour dates in early 2009.

The band — guitarist/vocalist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, drummer John Fishman and keyboardist Page McConnell — called it quits in May, 2004.

The last time Phish played in Utah was the summer of 2003 at the USANA Amphitheatre. And the show rocked.

So here’s hoping the reunion tour will make a stop in Utah sometime next year.
