Country Music Entertainment of the Year Kenny Chesney will perform at the Rio Tinto Stadium on Thursday, July 23.

Chesney’s “Sun City Carnival”show, which kicks off the week-long “Days of ’47″ celebration at Rio Tinto, starts at 5:30 p.m. Grammy Award-winner Sugarland will open the show, and Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert will also perform that night.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m. at www.RioTintoStadium.com or by calling 888-477-5849.

In-person ticket purchases will begin Monday, Feb. 23, 10 a.m. at the stadium’s west-side ticket window.

Those who are Real Salt Lake season ticket holders can start purchasing tickets Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m.
