Happy vernal equinox

Congratulations for making it to the first day of spring!

It’s time to not only gaze out the window but to go out and enjoy the weather.

Since today is the vernal equinox, I have a question for you.

What song, songs or full-length CDs would be ideal to listen to today?

My wife chose Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.”

I thought of John Denver’s “Rocky Mountain High,” but then I really started thinking of other things.

So, this morning I hooked up my iPod to my car stereo and listened to Styx’s fifth album, fittingly titled “Equinox,” as I went to pick up my kids for school.

After “Equinox” wrapped, for some reason I put in AC/DC’s “Let There Be Rock.” But that’s a whole new blog.

Still, in keeping with the debut of spring 2009, what would you be your music of the day?
