Disney-Pixar’s latest animated feature is already well on its way to $200 million in domestic ticket sales, and looks certain to be one of its biggest hits. (“Finding Nemo” is still the champ there.)

The big surprise was the performance of the R-rated “Hangover,” which provided strong competition for the family-friendly film, and which easily crushed the Will Ferrell vehicle, “Land of the Lost.” That movie was expected to do much better and could turn out to be one of the summer’s bigger disappointments.

Meanwhile, the “Night at the Museum” sequel continued to pull in audiences, and the “Star Trek” re-imagining added to its lead. That movie is currently the year’s No. 1 film.
