Updated box office
The week’s top-five movies (courtesy Box Office Mojo):
1. The Hangover
$45 million
(Total to date: $45 million)
2. Up
$44.1 million
(Total to date: $137.2 million)
3. Land of the Lost
$18.8 million
(Total to date: $18.8 million)
4. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
$14.6 million
(Total to date: $127.3 million)
5. Star Trek
$8.3 million
(Total to date: $222.7 million)
Strong word of mouth pushed the R-rated “Hangover” past Disney-Pixar’s “Up.” But just barely. That film continues to do well with families, and should be able to reach $200 million in domestic ticket sales rather easily.

However, “Land of the Lost” did even worse than early projections suggested. And with its $100-million-plus production budget, it stands to be one of the real duds this summer.
