The R-rated “Hangover” continued to defy box-office analysts’ expectations and seems destined to be this year’s “Wedding Crashers.”

And the PG-rated “Up” is already one of the Disney-Pixar team’s biggest hits. It will easily surpass $200 million in ticket sales by the end of June, and may even challenge “Star Trek” for the year’s box-office crown.

The “Pelham” remake was a distant third. But at least it did better than the quickly fading “Land of the Lost” and a new Eddie Murphy movie (“Imagine That”), which opened in the No. 6 slot, with $5.7 million.
