The best little film festival in Utah?
“The smallest international film festival in the world” returns to Utah this weekend, as Bicknell holds its annual International Film Festival July 24 and 25.
Now in its 14th year, the event is dedicated to B-movies. This year’s theme is “Ba Dang Bing, Ba Da BIFF! Gangsters and Gun Molls: Bad Gangster Movies,” and it features what organizers admit are “three of the worst gangster movies ever made”: Lady Gangster” (1942), “Killer Dill” (1947) and “Ma Barker’s Killers Brood” (1960).

In addition to the screenings in the Wayne Theatre, 11 E. Main, BIFF also boasts the world’s fastest parade (one that sometimes reaches highway speeds), after-movie parties, seminars and discussions, a swap meet and “plenty of free parking.”
