Donny goes "Dancing"

Donny Osmond will compete on “Dancing with the Stars.”

AS EXPECTED, DONNY OSMOND will be one of the celebrities on the upcoming season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,”

He’ll follow in the footsteps of his sister, Marie, who finished third on “Dancing” two years ago. The pair will continue to perform in Las Vegas while Donny competes on the show.

Osmond won’t be the only member of a famous TV family on “Dancing,” which returns on Monday, Sept. 21. Kelly Osbourne will be among the other contestants.

And while Osmond’s inclusion in this season’s lineup is far from unexpected, the addition of former Speaker of the House Tom Delay is considerably more surprising.

The other “Stars” on “Dancing” are singer Aaron Carter; Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer Natalie Coughlin; actor/TV host Mark Dacascos; Grammy-winning singer Macy Gray; Ashley Hamilton, a singer/actor/son of George Hamilton; actress Melissa Joan Hart; model/actress Kathy Ireland; former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin; model Joanna Krupa (who recently fought with teammate Terrell Owens on ABC’s “The Superstars”); ultimate fighting champion Chuck Liddell; actresS Debi Mazar; Grammy-winning singer Mya; and snowboarder Louie Vito.
