A sick child and music lyric

My youngest has been battling the flu this past week.

She doesn’t have H1N1, thank heavens, but the illness has really taken a toll on her.

However, she hasn’t lost her sense of humor. And she’s not the type to complain, even though her fever didn’t dip below 102 for a couple of days.

As of today, she’s doing a lot better and walking unwavering on the road to recovery, but as a precaution, she’s staying home from school for the rest of the week.

For some messed-up reason, I’ve had this little song in my head ever since Monday. And I dedicate it to my daughter, with my sincere apologies…
