Thurl Bailey will sing at Riverview Junior High Nov. 12

Singer Thurl “Big T” Bailey, formerly of the Utah Jazz, will perform a benefit concert at Riverview Junior High Nov. 12 to raise money for a school in Pagand, Indonesia.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and admission is $10 for general admission and $25 for VIP tickets that include meeting Bailey in a 30-minute pre-show session.

Also, a silent auction will be held Nov. 12 as well.

Riverview Junior High is located at 751 Tripp Lane, Murray.

Choir students of Riverview Junior High have had a two-year music and cultural exchange with the school in Indonesia. On Sept. 30, the Indonesian school was destroyed by a massive earthquake.
