New films in theaters this week:

— “La Danse: Le Ballet de l’Opra de Paris” (not rated), a documentary feature about the Paris Opera Ballet dance company. French with subtitles.

Veteran documentarian Frederick Wiseman’s fly-on-the-wall, nonfiction film does not feature narration or narrative credits, and is 2 1/2 hours long. Consequently, as visually interesting as it is, the movie is pretty much for documentary fans and for aficionados of dance/ballet only.
