Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great and safe holiday season.

It was one of the most relaxing seasons I’ve had in a long time.

Now it’s time to get back in the saddle and start the new year off with those resolutions and promises.

I, however, will not make any at this time. The reason is simple – it’s too early in the year. I need to really assess my goals and ambitions in order to make a good change in my life. And, unfortunately, while I was gearing up for the solstice, Christmas and New Years, I was so taken by the season that I didn’t have time to really think about the past year and what I could do to make it better.

So, my resolution(s) will be made sometime in February or March — most likely March, when the Northern Hemisphere is blooming anew.

Meanwhile, in keeping my goals in mind, I have Dennis DeYoung’s “Don’t Wait for Heroes” running through my head.

Happy New Year everyone.
