Of course, we could both be wrong completely (Oscar picks)

First off, I’d like to mention that last Friday I wrote my story about the 82nd Academy Awards, which includes my predictions in 18 of the 24 categories to be announced.
And I feel really good about these predictions. I may have gone out on a limb with some picks in previous years, but I’m fairly confident this time.
So it really comes as no surprise that other critics and movie writers are echoing my sentiments. Among them is the esteemed Roger Ebert, who is one of my longtime heroes.
Ebert’s predictions just crossed the news wires, and he picked the same winners in the six major categories: Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Director.
I could give the full rundown, but you can compare our lists of predictions when my story is published on Friday (the story should be online late Thursday for those who can’t wait).
And if we’re both wrong, I’m sure we’ll both hear about it. By the way, the Oscars telecast will air locally on KTVX-ABC, Ch. 4, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
