DragonForce lead singer says sayonara to the band

ZP Theart has left Dragonforce.

The band announced the singer’s departure in a statement released earlier this morning:

“It is with great regret that DragonForce announce a parting of the ways with singer ZP Theart. This is due to insurmountable differences of musical opinion, but the rest of the band sincerely wishes ZP great success with his future projects.”

The band, which through the help of the “Guitar Hero” video game became popular because of it’s hyper-speedy guitar leads, soaring vocals and gun-slinging arrangements, is currently working on its fifth album.

Which means it needs a new singer.
