Congrats to Lady Antebellum

The rising country trio Lady Antebellum took home five trophies for three major awards at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

The group — guitarist/mandolinist Davie Haywood and vocalists Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley — won Song of the Year and Single of the Year for the blockbuster hit “Need You Now.” The trio was able to take two trophies home for each of those awards because they not only recorded the song but also wrote and produced it themselves.

Lady A also snapped Rascal Flatts’ seven-year run as Top Vocal Group.
