Sting Cancels USANA Show

Due to a scheduling conflict, Sting has to cancel his USANA Amphitheatre concert on June 10.

Refunds are available beginning April 22 at all points of purchase.

Sting, born Gordon Sumner, is touring with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, which is conducted by Steven Mercurio.

It would have been great to hear Sting classics such as “Desert Rose” or “Russians,” which features an instrumental refrain of the “Romance Melody” from the “Lieutenant Kije Suite” by my favorite composer, Sergei Prokofiev.

You know, I bet “Russians” would have been an expanded in concert because of the Prokofiev connection.

Alas, seeing Sting this year just wasn’t in the cards.

Now I’m going to sing “King of Pain” all day long.
