Rocker and reality TV star Bret Michaels will be at The Depot Wednesday night.
And if you had any doubt whether he’d show, just look for the tour bus with the big picture of Bret on the side, parked in front of the venue.
Michaels achieved fame first as the frontman of Poison, a band that has almost come to define the meaning of glam band or “hairband” in the ’80s. They hit the big time with songs like, “Nothin’ but a Good Time” and “Every Rose Has its Thorn.”
But in recent years, Michaels has expanded his fame into reality TV, first with Rock of Love, that shows various spinoffs and later with Celebrity Apprentice 3.
His latest album, due to be released next year, actually finds Michaels taking a stab at country music. His album, “Once a Cowboy, Always a Cowboy,” was scheduled to be released next month.
It’s actually amazing Michaels is back on the road and touring right now. In April, he suffered a massive brain hemorrhage and was in critical condition.
The following month, doctors found a hole in Bret’s heart.
Despite all of that, Michaels, who always gives 110% on stage with his show-must-go-on attitude, is back on the road, this time with his “Custom Built Tour.”
Doors Wednesday open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at The Depot for $45.
