Party like it's 1989

The rumors are true. Rock’s ultimate bad boys announced the much anticipated co-headlining tour with rock’s ultimate glam boys.

Motley Crue and Poison return to the road this summer. And they’re bringing the New York Dolls for good measure. United Concerts hasn’t officially announced the show yet. But the bands Tuesday announced they would be performing at the USANA Amphitheatre on Sunday, June 19.

The Crue are celebrating their 30th anniversary of rock and hedonism. Lead singer Vince Neil was recently released from a Las Vegas jail for another DUI conviction.

Poison, meanwhile, will hit the road for their 25th anniversary after taking last summer off. During that time, Bret Michaels continued with his reality TV career, made headlines for several critical health issues and amazing recoveries, and releasing a country album.

For 1980’s hard rock fans, the combination of these two heavyweight acts is bound to be one of the most pleasing of the summer. Tickets were expected to go on sale later this month.
