Who has the best sellout streak in Utah?
It’s not any professional or college sports team. The man with arguably the most impressive streak of selling out venues in Utah is comedian Brian Regan.
Regan has sold out 15 consecutive shows dating back to 2006. From Dec. 7, 2006 to Feb. 19, 2011 he has sold out Kingsbury Hall, Abravanel Hall and the Ellen Eccles Theatre multiple times and drew an impressive 12,000 people over three sold out shows at Thanksgiving Point in 2008.
Now, the “clean” comedian who doesn’t use profanity or off-color humor as part of his act is about to take up part-time residency in Utah in January when he performs EIGHT more shows at Abravanel Hall. If there was any doubt about whether there was still any interest in Regan, consider that originally “only” six shows scheduled. But two more were added on January 19 and 26. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday (11/4).
Regan looks to keep his sellout streak alive beginning Jan. 18.
