After somehow missing Utah during all of 2011, the Zac Brown Band return Saturday for just their second ever performance in the Beehive State.
In 2010, ZBB nearly missed their inaugural Utah performance because of a spring snowstorm that trapped most of the band’s tour buses in Colorado. Zac and his band, however, were able to book flights, rent equipment once they arrived, and play a dynamic show before 2,000 at the Rail Events Center.
This time around, the crowd at the Maverik Center is expected to be much larger as the popularity of the band has exploded since the last time they were here. Last year, Zac and crew were nominated for nine Academy of Country Music Awards including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Despite the star power at Sundance, the best show of the weekend will likely be in West Valley City.
