Grammy Winners Lady A in SLC

Fresh off their Grammy win for best country album, Lady Antebellum will be spending Valentine’s Day with Salt Lake City.

“Own the Night” picked up Sunday night’s Grammy, the second year in a row Lady A has won the award. Last year, their monster album “Need You Now” took home the prize.

Tuesday, the Own The Night 2012 tour makes a stop at Energy Solutions Arena along with the country-pop-rock trio’s catalog of love songs for every occasion: drunk dial love songs (“Need You Now”), romantic love songs (“Just A Kiss”), love for a son or daughter (“Hello World”), good ole’ young spirited love (“Our Kind of Love”) and somewhere between loves lost and one night stand love songs (“Own the Night”).

Lady A – Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott – have been busy with their own love lives lately. Scott was married last month to the band’s drummer, Chris Tyrrell. Kelley (whose brother is musician and Park City resident Josh Kelley and married to actress Katherine Heigl) was married in 2009. In December, Haywood announced he was engaged.

Opening the show is Hootie and the Blowfish frontman, and country solo star, Darius Rucker along with Thompson Square.
