Def Leppard to start tour in Utah

The rock keeps rolling this summer at USANA.

Veteran rockers Def Leppard and Poison are teaming up once again for a summer trek through outdoor amphitheaters and arenas. And this time, they’re starting their entire tour in Utah.

The Def Leppard/Poison double bill will kickoff at the USANA Amphitheatre on June 20. This tour’s special guest opener is fellow 80s guitar hero Lita Ford.

Neither band has been exceptionally creative with their set lists in recent years. Def Leppard has been touring in recent years with a set list heavy on the Hysteria and Pyromania albums while Poison is almost guaranteed to start their set with “Look What the Cat Dragged In” and end with “Nothin’ But a Good Time.”

But Poison continues to deliver the songs with loads of enthusiasm year-after-year while Def Leppard brings their elaborate stage show, and the fans keep coming (check out the bad cell phone pics from 2009 at USANA).
