Nickelback Cancels Tour

Nickelback has been forced to cancel the second leg of their No Fixed Address North American tour – including their July 5 stop at USANA Amphitheatre – due to an operable cyst being discovered on lead singer Chad Kroeger’s voice box.

Kroeger will undergo surgery in 3 weeks, according to a statement from the band. Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

“I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans” Kroeger said in a prepared statement. “I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible.”

Nickelback expects to resume their tour in Europe in September.
